The Business
Winncare SA is the holding company of a group supplying homecare products for dependent people and/or the elderly in France and in selected European countries. In February 2004, Winncare acquired Asklé Santé. Founded in 1988, Asklé Santé is the French Market leader for bed sore prevention products and offers a complete range of mattresses, cushions and comfort accessories for preventing pressure sores. Asklé has developed a strong proprietary know-how and is the only manufacturer to have a complete range of products that spans three leading-edge technologies: (i) polyurethane foam technology, (ii) gel technology and (iii) cells-based supports-static air. In July 04, Winncare acquired Medicatlantic, the French market leader of homecare medical furniture and equipment (beds, wheelchairs and patient lifting products). In July 2005, Winncare acquired Virmedic, Asklés Spanish distributor and a manufacturer of patient lifting equipment.
The Management
The management team is led by Pascal Albert-Petit, Chairman and CEO, and includes senior managers with significant experience in the healthcare industry, including Benoit Troubat (Group Sales Director), Christophe Castellano (Managing Director of Asklé Santé), Jean-Pierre Saulnier (Managing Director of Médicatlantic) and Fernando Sanchez de Lara (Managing Director of Virmedic in Spain).
Strategic Development
Winncare currently seeks to add additional, selected specialties to its portfolio of products by exploiting specific technical know-how so as to become one of the leading operators primarily in the French homecare market and also in selected European countries.
